For years, competitors have tried to compare themselves to Door Jamb Armor when they don't come close. The EZ Armor Jamb Shield is similar to the "me too crowd" of jamb reinforcement products but at a fraction of the cost.

The EZ Armor Jamb receives our Silver Protection designation because testing has shown that the lock area on the door and/or the hinges will split without the use of door and hinge protection.

The EZ Armor Jamb Shield is an L-Shaped plate that attaches to the face of the door jamb. The piece does not wrap the jamb, which makes it easy to install.

The EZ Armor plate can be used to repair existing damage and will reinforce the jamb to help prevent future damage.

The EZ Armor Jamb is 48 inches long and has holes cut to fit locks that are spaced from 4.5 to 21.5 inches apart. Our new Jamb Shield model has knock-out holes, which allow for multiple locks and non-standard lock spacing but allow you to punch out only the holes that you want to show.

If you are trying to secure your door, we strongly advise you to purchase the EZ Armor Combo Set. Reinforcing only the jamb will not prevent a kick-in. If you reinforce the jamb and do not secure the lock area on the door and the hinges, your door can still be kicked in. You can only have Total Door Security if you secure your total door.
