The second generation FIX-A-JAMB takes quick and inexpensive to a new level. With this new piece, it is no longer necessary to cut nails during installation, yet the "L"-shaped design fully covers any damage to give you the clean, finished look that our customers have come to expect.
These pieces are made of 18 gauge galvanized steel and are 40 inches long and are secured using 7 3-1/2" screws.
If you have 15 minutes and a screwdriver, you can repair and reinforce a damaged jamb.
While FIX-A-JAMB will make your jamb stronger, it only receives our Silver Protection designation because other parts on your door will break if kicked.
