The only difference between the MINI and MAX kits are that the MAX kits come with Hinge Shields (Hinge Protection). Which one you choose, really depends on your desired level of security. If you are in an area where a thief would have more time to work on your door, we would recommend the MAX kit. Many of our multi family customers and others protecting large numbers of doors purchase the MINI kit because it costs less. MINI kits also come with additional 3-1/2-inch screws for the hinges so your hinges will not be completely unprotected.
